What is tallow?
Tallow skincare is made from rendered beef suet (fat), which is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Because its structure closely resembles the natural oils found in our skin, it absorbs easily and helps support a healthy skin barrier.
What should I expect first use?

Why use tallow?
Beef tallow is incredibly nourishing for the skin. It contains vitamins A, D, E, K, and B12 and closely mimics the natural oils our skin produces.
It is also rich in minerals and has natural antimicrobial, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Tallow deeply moisturizes the skin and helps promote a soft, smooth, healthy complexion.
Additionally, tallow is a sustainable ingredient because it uses a byproduct of the beef industry that would otherwise go to waste.
Is tallow safe for sensitive skin?
Many customers with sensitive or reactive skin do very well with our products because they contain minimal, nourishing ingredients.
However, everyone’s skin is different, so we recommend patch testing before full use.
Where is your tallow sourced?
We proudly source our beef suet from local farms and carefully hand-render it in small batches.

How do I apply it?
A little goes a long way.
Warm a small amount between your fingers and gently press or massage it into clean skin. Because tallow is concentrated, start with a small amount and add more if needed.
Will this make my skin oily?
Tallow helps balance the skin rather than simply sitting on top of it.
If you're new to rich moisturizers, start with a very small amount. Your skin will absorb it more than you might expect.
How should I store my balm?
Tallow products are naturally shelf stable and do not need to be refrigerated.
Simply store them in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
What if my skin needs to adjust?
Switching to natural skincare can sometimes come with a short adjustment period as your skin barrier rebalances.
